Brief personality description:
Axel inherited his gypsy mother’s vibrant approach to life, often flirting and teasing and perhaps tossing out more perverted innuendo than is strictly healthy. If not for himself, than for others. Axel is so easygoing as to be capricious, so cunning as to play a fool. While nobody can solidly claim that he is disloyal to King Xemnas, he easily sidesteps certain matters and questions. Something of a wild card, his only known unwavering loyalty may be said to be himself and his interests. With a keenly clever sort of intelligence, Axel is fully capable of carrying out any orders from above. While Axel can be ruthless and cruel, trapping and betraying according to whim or overriding loyalties- within the parameters of his loyalties, he can be a strong and fierce friend and ally.

Abilities/Magic:
Axel is skilled and speedy with his weapon of choice: twin chakrams. He also wields fire/heat magic, with which element he has an affinity and resistance. He also knows a fair number of hand sleights and parlor tricks, though most of them don’t really have any battle merit. It’s best to keep a careful eye on your belongings, lest he liberate them.
Weaknessess:
Wrestling. While he can throw a punch or kick, his slender form doesn’t have the mass for prolonged close combat and is likely to be overpowered in a wrestling match. Additionally, he will have a far more difficult time if his hands are bound as this nullifies both the chakrams and most of his tricks as well as makes his fire magic harder to perform. The cold makes him lethargic and weakens him. Water isn’t inimical to him, but he’d rather not be dripping wet, outside a bath, all the same, since its counterproductive to his magic.

History:
Born the bastard son of a lesser, unimportant noble and a gypsy woman, Axel spent most of his life with his mother’s traveling circus group. With them, he learned the tricks of the trade: everything from juggling and small tricks to basic fortune-telling to thievery and conning the clients. Life on the road was dangerous and the gypsy caravan was no exception to this rule. Axel learned how to wield weapons, particularly, his chakrams, an oddity he’d picked up while on their travels. He took his turn at guard shifts just as any other member of the caravan. It was on one such night shift that They attacked. The shadow creatures left nothing of the gypsies but smoke, ash, and one half-insane teenaged boy, his blood-splattered hand on fire.
In the years since then, he has lived as a semi-successful (if not particularly driven) mercenary and sometimes whore (which, incidentally, were how he met and partnered up with Marluxia for a few missions.) When he was tracked down by the Organization, Axel readily accepted their proposal without comment. He’s currently serving King Xemnas with an oft-irritating smile on his face, almost as if the black teardrop tattoos on his face had always been there.
